May 2006: Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences- Avila University.
As well as being a certified physician assistant, Misty is a registered radiologic technologist. She worked in the radiology field for 5 year prior to returning to school to become a physician assistant.
Prior to joining Drs. Hellman and Rosen, Misty worked as a PA-C at the Kansas University Hospital in the department of Radiation Oncology for two years.

Prior to obtaining her Nurse Practitioner degree, Mayra worked for Hellman & Rosen Endocrine Associates for 10 years in a variety of roles, including Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager. During her time in school while obtaining her MSN, she worked at Truman Medical Center as a Telemetry Nurse.
We are happy to welcome Mayra back to our practice in the role of Nurse Practitioner.
